Donation For St William, the Hermit, Parish Church Repair

On behal of Magsingal Association of Northern California, I am very happy to let you  know that we donated $5000.00 for the repair of St William, the Hermit, parish church on 11/30/2009.

Last March 16, 2010, MANC remitted another $2444.00 that Jim & Vangie Tolentino Alconis donated and solicited from members and friends. MANC is still soliciting more donors for the church and for the restroom projects.

Sad to say that the amount donated to the committee is still short so I would like to plead to all Kailians all over the world to please share some of your blessings to this purpose. You can donate any amount to the following:

St William's Parish Church - Restroom Solicitation

Townmates, Friends and Relatives,

Here's a solicitation letter from Mrs. Rafaela Rosario for the construction of a new restroom which I believe will be a 3 stalls for women and 2 stalls for men and a shower for each the women and men's stalls. The rest room is already done and its total cost is 600,000 Pesos. The committee so far has received a total of 200,000 Pesos so they have to borrow 400,000 Pesos inorder to complete its construction.

Last May 8, 2010, Magsingal Association of Northern California had a Casino Fund Raising Trip in which its net proceed will be matched by its current fund. I am very happy to let you know that we raised a total of $1582.00 net and since this will be matched by MANC, there will be a total of $3164.00 that will be donated to the restroom project. As president of this association, I thank all the donors and players of this fund raising trip. I, also, want to thank all the generous officers and members of this association for their support specially when it comes to helping our church and kailians. Once again, thanks to all of you.
